About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Psychologist to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a Community Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing a community psychology service to the Upper Valley Cluster geographical patch.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the application of community psychology and will be able to provide psychological consultation, joint working, psychological assessment and formulation, psychological and systemic intervention, teaching, training, service evaluation, reporting, and service development.

The ideal candidate will have a Psychology degree, a Masters in Psychology, and have achieved qualification as a registrant psychologist. Registration as an HCPC registrant psychologist is also essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a community psychology service to the Upper Valley Cluster geographical patch
  • Conduct psychological consultation and joint working
  • Carry out psychological assessment and formulation
  • Deliver psychological and systemic intervention
  • Teach and train staff
  • Evaluate and report on service provision
  • Develop and improve service delivery
