Children's Home Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our Children's Home, providing high-quality care and support to young people with Learning Disabilities. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational running of the Home, ensuring the safety and well-being of each child is at the heart of everyday practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of skilled staff, providing emotional support and ensuring they are trained to an excellent standard.
- Engage with children, setting examples and building excellent rapport.
- Lead from the front, setting excellent expectations for the staff and young people alike.
- Develop and implement care plans, ensuring positive outcomes for the children you support.
- Understand and knowledge of safeguarding processes and policies.
- De-escalate challenging behaviour and work in a team to delegate tasks.
Requirements:
- Must have a caring and open-minded nature and be willing to work on call.
- At least 2 years experience of working within a residential children's setting within the last 5 years.
- Experience to meet in line with Ofsted requirements.
- Hold a Level 5 Health and Social Care Management and Leadership.
- Ideally hold a Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification.
