Job Summary:
Corus Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Registered Manager to lead our residential children's home. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to young people with Learning Disabilities (LD) needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and management to the team, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are maintained.
- Child-Centered Approach: Develop and implement individualized care plans that cater to the unique needs and goals of each child.
- Staff Development and Training: Lead and manage the training and development of staff members to ensure they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional care.
- Safeguarding and Risk Management: Ensure the home's safeguarding policies and procedures are implemented and maintained, and that risks are identified and mitigated.
- Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with social workers, family members, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, including managing budgets, resources, and staff schedules.
Requirements:
- Experience and Qualifications: Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a residential children's setting, with a Level 5 Health and Social Care Management and Leadership qualification.
- Leadership and Management Skills: Demonstrate exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff members.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, staff, and stakeholders.
- Safeguarding and Risk Management: Have a thorough understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures, and be able to identify and mitigate risks.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing circumstances.
