Job Title: Children's Registered Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our children's home, providing high-quality care and support to young people with learning disabilities. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the safety and well-being of each child, and promoting their independence and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of skilled staff, providing emotional support and guidance to ensure they are trained to an excellent standard.
- Engage with children, setting examples and building excellent rapport to promote positive relationships.
- Develop and implement care plans, ensuring the needs of each child are met and their progress is monitored.
- Collaborate with social workers, family members, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless support and care.
- Maintain accurate records of support and focus on positive outcomes for the children.
- De-escalate challenging behavior and work in a team to delegate tasks effectively.
Requirements:
- Must have a caring and open-minded nature, with a willingness to work on call.
- Experience working with learning disabilities and ACEs, with at least 2 years of experience in a residential children's setting within the last 5 years.
- Hold a Level 5 Health and Social Care Management and Leadership qualification, with ideally a Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification.
- Meet the requirements of Ofsted and have experience of fit-for-purpose interviews and holding a registration.
