Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of skilled staff in providing high-quality care and support to young people with learning disabilities.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each child, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Manage referrals, matching, and staff management, ensuring seamless transitions and effective support.
- Collaborate with social workers, family members, and other stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young people.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and secure environment for all.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a residential children's setting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care.
- Hold a Level 5 Health and Social Care Management and Leadership qualification, with a strong understanding of Ofsted requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, young people, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, with a high degree of autonomy and flexibility.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with a focus on de-escalating challenging behavior.
