Reception Supervisor Role Overview
Mercure Bristol Grand Hotel is seeking a skilled Reception Supervisor to oversee the front desk operations and provide exceptional guest experiences. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising the reception activities, ensuring a consistently high standard of service, and promoting sales revenues through up-selling and the brand loyalty program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise reception operations during assigned shifts to maintain high standards of service
- Ensure team members have knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing, and special offers
- Monitor team performance, appearance, and standards, with a focus on training and teamwork
- Maximize sales revenues through up-selling and brand loyalty programs
- Manage guest requests, enquiries, and complaints promptly, exceeding guest expectations
About Mercure Bristol Grand Hotel
Our hotel is a historic Grade II listed building with a stylish and distinctive new look. We offer a dedicated pool, sauna, and jacuzzi facilities, as well as the bee-themed Keepers restaurant & bar. Our hotel design draws inspiration from local artists, featuring around 500 pieces of commissioned street art.
