Reception Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Reception Supervisor to join our team at Mercure Bristol Grand Hotel. As a Reception Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the reception activities and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise the reception team to ensure a consistently high standard of service
- Monitor the appearance and performance of team members, providing training and support as needed
- Maximize sales revenues through up-selling and the brand loyalty program
- Manage guest requests, enquiries, and complaints promptly and efficiently
- Maintain the professional appearance of the reception area, focusing on hospitality and guest service
- Previous experience in a reception or customer-facing role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong commercial awareness and sales capabilities
- Ability to work morning, afternoon, evening, and weekends
Mercure Bristol Grand Hotel is a historic Grade II listed building with a stylish and distinctive new look. We offer a dedicated pool and sauna with jacuzzi facilities, as well as the bee-themed Keepers restaurant & bar. Our hotel features around 500 pieces of commissioned street art, creating a unique and memorable guest experience.
