Professional Children's Support Practitioner

At Service Care Solutions - Social Work, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Social Worker to join our Children in Care (CiC) Team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality support to children and young people in care, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met.
Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Manage a caseload of children in care, ensuring that all statutory duties are met and that each child's needs are supported through comprehensive care plans.
- Direct Work: Engage directly with children, families, and carers to build strong relationships, understand needs, and provide appropriate interventions.
- Care Planning: Develop and review personalised care plans that meet the needs and best interests of children in care, focusing on stability, safety, and well-being.
- Multi-Agency Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues from health, education, and other services to ensure a holistic approach to care and support.
- Safeguarding: Ensure the safety and protection of children in care through regular assessments, reviews, and proactive safeguarding measures.
- Court Work: Prepare reports and attend court hearings to ensure the best interests of children are represented.
