Pertemps TM is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller / Administrator to join our team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of construction projects by managing documentation throughout its lifecycle.

As a Document Controller, you will be the primary point of contact for designers, subcontractors, and clients, facilitating clear communication and efficient information flow. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Acting as the central hub for all project documentation, ensuring its accuracy, accessibility, and timely delivery.
  • Proactively managing the Construction Document Environment (CDE) to maintain a centralized repository of project information.
  • Providing comprehensive training to team members on document management systems and protocols.
  • Offering ongoing support and guidance to internal and external stakeholders, resolving queries and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Collaborating with the Information Manager and Project Team to establish and maintain consistent file naming conventions.
  • Conducting thorough reviews of incoming and outgoing project documentation to ensure compliance with standards and quality control measures.
  • Actively participating in interviews and meetings, contributing valuable insights and updates to the Project Team.

To excel in this role, you will possess:

  • Proven experience within the construction industry or a similar environment, demonstrating a strong understanding of project workflows and documentation requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, particularly Excel, Teams, and SharePoint, showcasing your ability to leverage technology for efficient document management.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, enabling you to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize workload under pressure.
  • A self-motivated and proactive approach, demonstrating initiative and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, fostering collaborative relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
