About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our team at Pertemps TM. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for managing the document control process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Main Point of Contact: You will be the primary point of contact for designers, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Document Management: You will be responsible for managing the Central Document Exchange (CDE) for the project, ensuring that all documents are accurately stored, updated, and distributed to relevant stakeholders.
  • Training and Support: You will provide training and support to other team members on document management systems, ensuring that everyone is equipped to manage documents effectively.
  • Project Support: You will act as the main point of contact for ongoing support and coaching, including third parties such as client teams, designers, and subcontractors.
  • File Management: You will work closely with the information manager and project team to maintain project file naming protocols, ensuring that all files are accurately labeled and easily accessible.
  • Document Validation: You will be responsible for validating, checking, and curating all incoming and outgoing project documentation, ensuring that all documents are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Project Liaison: You will attend interviews and liaise with the project team regularly, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and up-to-date on project progress.
Requirements
  • Experience: You must have experience working in a construction or similar environment, with a proven track record of managing projects.
  • Technical Skills: You must be competent in Microsoft 365 suite of tools, specifically Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Communication Skills: You must be able to work under pressure, manage a busy workload, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: You must be well-organized, self-motivated, and able to prioritize work effectively.
  • Team Player: You must be a focused team player, able to work collaboratively with others to achieve project goals.
