Job Summary:

Pertemps TM is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our team. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for managing the project's documentation and ensuring that all stakeholders have access to the necessary information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Main Point of Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for designers, subcontractors, and clients, providing timely and effective communication and support.
  • Project Documentation Management: Manage the project's documentation, including the creation, review, and approval of project files, ensuring that all documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to project team members on project documentation and systems, ensuring that all team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Project File Naming Protocols: Collaborate with the project team and information manager to develop and maintain project file naming protocols, ensuring that all project files are properly named and organized.
  • Validation and Curation: Validate, check, and curate all incoming and outgoing project documentation, ensuring that all documentation meets the required standards and is accurate and complete.
  • Project Team Liaison: Attend project team meetings and liaise with the project team regularly, ensuring that all team members are informed and up-to-date on project progress and requirements.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Must have experience working in a construction or similar environment, with a proven track record of managing projects and documentation.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite of tools, specifically Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with designers, subcontractors, clients, and project team members.
