Job Title: Assistant Optical Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Assistant Optical Manager at one of the UK's most prestigious optical groups.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure practice efficiency and compliance with organisational procedures
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and satisfaction with products and services
  • Lead and motivate staff, providing training and development opportunities
  • Drive business performance, achieving sales targets and patient numbers
  • Manage stock control and maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
  • Ensure health and safety standards are met across the practice
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Department to maximise local marketing effectiveness
  • Drive cost efficiencies and improve profitability
  • Dispense spectacles to prescriptions and ensure compliance with regulations
Personal Specification:
  • Previous management experience or a proven track record of developing and supporting staff
  • Strong background in customer service and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences
  • Experience of driving business performance and achieving sales targets
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and engage staff at all levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to put the customer first and act in a professional manner in all situations
  • Positive and outgoing, with a flexible approach to working hours and days
  • Well-presented and professional, with attention to detail
Job Details:
  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Salary: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
  • Bonus scheme and additional benefits

  • 8 hour shift, day shift, Monday to Friday, with weekend availability
