Media Trading Manager

Role DescriptionAs a Trading Manager at Mediabrands, you will play a key role in delivering value to our clients by leveraging relationships with our media partners across all media types. You will be responsible for building relationships with media owners, monitoring deals, and understanding client targets in relation to our media banks. This role requires strong communication and relationship-building skills, as well as a good understanding of the UK media market.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with media owners at junior to mid-level, with the capability to handle senior people as required.
- Monitor and track deals, collaborating with the wider day-to-day team.
- Regularly meet with the day-to-day team to feedback opportunities to the Director of UK Trading.
- Understand client targets in relation to our media banks.
- Support the Director of UK Trading in the deal process from start to finish, including deal renewals.
- Work closely with the legal team to implement media partner contracts.
- Collaborate with our performance agency, Kinesso, on digital deals.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Good level of numeracy, time management, and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of the UK media market and the ability to develop knowledge further to navigate the market effectively.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft programs, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Previous experience in media trading or buying, preferably at a media owner, specialist, or agency.
