Curriculum Manager for Apprenticeships

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Curriculum Manager for Apprenticeships to join our team at Nacro. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing the development of high-quality apprenticeship provision.

The role will involve planning and implementing a curriculum that effectively prepares apprentices for their next steps, drawing on significant experience to shape and influence the apprenticeship offer. The Curriculum Manager for Apprenticeships will ensure that Nacro's high expectations for teaching, learning, and assessment are delivered consistently, enabling apprentices to achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a high-quality apprenticeship curriculum
  • Lead the development of teaching, learning, and assessment strategies
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and quality standards
  • Support the development of staff to drive improvement and development
  • Maintain a strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • English and mathematics qualifications at level 2 or above
  • Significant experience of delivering or leading teaching, learning, and assessment in the Further Education and Skills sector
  • Knowledge and application of contemporary teaching theory and practice
  • Knowledge of the Further Education and Skills sector and related funding and regulatory frameworks
  • Experience of coaching, mentoring, and/or supporting employees to drive improvement and development
