About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Senior Architectural Technician to join our innovative architectural practice in Barnsley. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality designs, managing projects, and collaborating with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Manage small-scale projects, leading teams of technicians and ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including architects and engineers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, software, and building regulations.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.
  • Liaise with local authorities, ensuring regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience working in residential design, strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to self-development. Proficiency in Revit and a thorough knowledge of current building regulations are essential. A degree or HND/HNC in Architectural Technology, along with membership of CIAT or chartership status, is preferred.
