Position Overview: Cybersecurity Specialist at Dreams

Join our innovative Technology team as a Cybersecurity Specialist. Your primary responsibility will be to fortify our digital defenses while delivering essential technical assistance and improving our security infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configuring and maintaining security protocols within the Azure environment
  • Conducting routine assessments, triage, and preventive maintenance for Firewall and web filtering systems, as well as monitoring alerts
  • Reviewing and validating the content of security-related emails
  • Overseeing the Cyberark dashboard and managing privilege access requests
  • Tracking Endpoint health to ensure all devices are current
  • Managing Mimecast threats, Cyberark PAM, and DMARC safeguards
  • Keeping all security systems up-to-date with the latest patches and enhancements
  • Providing assistance to service desk personnel regarding security matters
  • Supporting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and maintaining the Risk Register

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience with Microsoft Azure is essential

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in an IT Security position, ideally within a fast-paced retail or multi-location setting
  • Understanding of IT Security principles including Firewalls, Web Filtering, and Virus Protection
  • Familiarity with IT hardware, server environments, backup strategies, and change management processes
  • Knowledge of ITIL methodologies and continuous improvement approaches
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster relationships across various organizational levels
  • Aptitude for articulating technical concepts to diverse audiences
