Senior Security Engineer Opportunity

We are working with a leading innovator in the Environmental Sustainability space to find a Senior Security Engineer to join their team as they embark on a 5-Year Digital Transformation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and protecting the organisation's systems and networks, identifying and mitigating security risks, implementing security responses, and monitoring for potential threats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement security protocols and policies, and maintain governance of IT security policies and procedures.
  • Act as a security ambassador within the business, promoting a secure culture.
  • Oversee daily security operations to ensure prompt resolution of security incidents and support various security projects.
  • Take ownership and accountability for the delivery of security services to the business.
  • Monitor networks and systems for security breaches or intrusions, and investigate any security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents.
  • Collaborate with the security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to security best practices.
Requirements:
  • Microsoft, Azure, and MS public and private cloud certifications.
  • Knowledge necessary to propose relevant security responses to changing business and project risks.
  • 3 years of work experience as a Security Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Detailed understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.
