Position Overview: Cybersecurity Specialist at Dreams
Join our innovative Technology team at Dreams, where we are dedicated to safeguarding our digital landscape. We are seeking a proficient Cybersecurity Specialist who will play a pivotal role in fortifying our cyber defenses while delivering essential technical assistance and optimizing our security infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configuring and maintaining security settings within the Azure environment
- Conducting daily assessments, troubleshooting, and proactive upkeep of Firewall and web filtering systems, as well as monitoring alerts from Cynet Threat Detection
- Reviewing and validating the content of security-related emails
- Overseeing the Cyberark dashboard and managing privilege access requests
- Monitoring the status of endpoints to ensure all devices are current
- Administering Mimecast threat management, Cyberark PAM, and DMARC security measures
- Ensuring all security systems are regularly updated with the latest patches
- Providing assistance to service desk personnel regarding security-related inquiries
- Supporting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and maintaining the Risk Register
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience with Microsoft Azure is essential
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in an IT Security position, ideally within a fast-paced retail or multi-location setting
- Understanding of IT Security principles, including Firewalls, Web Filtering, and Virus Protection
- Familiarity with IT hardware, server infrastructures, backup strategies, and change management protocols
- Knowledge of ITIL methodologies and continuous improvement frameworks
- Excellent communication abilities and the skill to foster relationships across various organizational levels
- Aptitude for conveying technical information to diverse audiences
