Position Overview: Cybersecurity Specialist at Dreams

Join our innovative Technology team as a Cybersecurity Specialist. Your primary responsibility will be to fortify our digital defenses while delivering essential technical assistance and improving our security frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configuring security measures within the Azure environment
  • Conducting routine inspections, addressing issues, and performing proactive maintenance for Firewall and web filtering systems, as well as monitoring alerts
  • Assessing the content of security-related emails
  • Overseeing the Cyberark dashboard and managing privilege access requests
  • Tracking the status of endpoints to ensure all devices are current
  • Handling Mimecast errors and threats, Cyberark PAM, DMARC safeguards, and additional security tasks
  • Keeping all security systems updated with the latest patches and improvements
  • Offering support to service desk personnel regarding security concerns
  • Assisting with Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and maintaining the Risk Register

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience with Microsoft Azure is essential

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years in an IT Security position, ideally within a fast-paced retail or multi-location setting
  • Understanding of IT Security principles such as Firewalls, Web Filtering, and Virus Protection
  • Familiarity with IT hardware, server ecosystems, backup strategies, and change management processes
  • Knowledge of ITIL methodologies and continuous improvement approaches
  • Excellent communication abilities and the capacity to foster relationships across various organizational levels
  • Aptitude for articulating technical subjects to diverse audiences
