Double Impact Recovery Coach Job

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Coach to join our Boston team. This rewarding role involves supporting service users to access various services, enabling them to build on their progress and develop their recovery capital.

The successful candidate will deliver bespoke recovery plans, assessments, beneficiary supervisions, reviews, and personal development plans in a strengths-based manner. They will work with a caseload of individuals to provide support and motivation around the aims and objectives set out within their Recovery and Personal Development Plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support clients in achieving their goals while adhering to processes, procedures, and recording requirements
  • Carry out assessments and facilitate the design of individually tailored recovery plans
  • Champion abstinent-based recovery models
  • Connect individuals in treatment with the Recovery Service and subsequent learning pathways
  • Facilitate recovery-focused groups, including peer-led mutual aid and psycho-educational groups

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in working with people in the drugs and alcohol treatment/recovery fields
  • Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care
  • Excellent IT skills and experience with database systems
  • Understanding of drug and alcohol addiction and recovery
  • Knowledge or personal experience of abstinent-based recovery models
  • Genuine passion for working with people with substance use problems and promoting recovery

Salary: £24,000 per annum
