Recovery Professional

We are seeking a skilled Recovery Coach to join The Nottingham Recovery Network in Boston. The successful candidate will support service users in accessing various services and developing their recovery capital.
Estimated Salary: £24,000 per annum (full-time, 37 hours per week)About the Role:This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months. The role involves delivering bespoke recovery plans, assessments, beneficiary supervisions, reviews, and personal development plans.
- Key Responsibilities: Support clients in achieving their goals while adhering to processes, procedures, and recording requirements.
- Conduct assessments of service users and facilitate individually tailored recovery plans.
- Advocate for abstinent-based recovery models.
- Foster connections between individuals in treatment and the Recovery Service, including access to the Academy learning pathway.
- Facilitate recovery-focused groups, such as peer-led mutual aid and recovery-themed psycho-educational groups.
- Maintain an ambitious attitude towards all service users' potential in recovery.
- Essential Skills and Qualifications: Relevant experience working with people in drugs and alcohol treatment/recovery fields, Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care, excellent IT skills, understanding of drug and alcohol addiction and treatment/recovery principles.
- Awareness or personal experience with abstinent-based recovery models, genuine passion for working with individuals struggling with substance use problems and promoting recovery, positive mindset and can-do attitude.
