About the Role

We are seeking to recruit As & When Residential Project Workers to join our team, working either dayshifts or waking nightshifts. As a Residential Project Worker, you will play an active role in supporting children and young people with learning disabilities and/or autism in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support children and young people with their daily needs, including personal care and medication
  • Assist with meal preparation and cooking
  • Engage in activities and outings with the children and young people
  • Monitor and record the children and young people's progress and well-being
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to provide a safe and supportive environment

Requirements

  • Experience of working with children and young people with learning disabilities and/or autism
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including day and night shifts
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
