Job Summary

We are seeking a Residential Project Worker to join our team at Pentland Way, working on a flexible, as-and-when basis to support our residential services.

About the Role

As a Residential Project Worker, you will work closely with our residential team to provide support and care to young people with learning disabilities and/or autism. You will be responsible for assisting with daily tasks, providing emotional support, and helping to create a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily tasks, such as personal care and household chores
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to young people
  • Help to create a safe and nurturing environment
  • Work collaboratively with the residential team to achieve positive outcomes for young people

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience working with children and young people, particularly those with learning disabilities and/or autism. You will also need to be able to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, and be willing to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
