Job Role: Facilities Site Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to join our team at HMP Bullingdon, a category B male prison. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our prison facilities, providing a safe and secure environment for prisoners and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain all aspects of prison facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of facilities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Develop and implement effective facilities management strategies to optimize resource utilization and reduce costs
  • Lead and manage a team of facilities staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of facilities management with other prison operations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in facilities management, preferably in a prison or military environment
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Good health and safety knowledge, with the ability to develop and implement effective safety protocols
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach
