About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Compensation Analyst to join our team at STERIS Canada Corporation. As a key member of our compensation and benefits team, you will play a critical role in delivering compensation and benefits services that support our organization's mission to create a healthier and safer world.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Partner with Directors and HR Managers to develop and implement compensation and benefits strategies that align with our business objectives.
  2. Provide expert advice on compensation and benefits policies and practices, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  3. Lead compensation projects across allocated countries, including global salary surveys, compensation studies, and benefits program design.
  4. Coordinate international assignments, including relocations, repatriations, and localizations, ensuring seamless support for business stakeholders and employees.
  5. Collaborate with relocation vendors to deliver effective service and support.
  6. Ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations in all relevant jurisdictions.
  7. Design, plan, and administer corporate employee compensation and benefit programs, including medical, life insurance, pension, and group income protection programs.
  8. Analyze data to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness, making recommendations for improvement.
  9. Prepare cost analysis of employee health and welfare benefits, including calculating annual benefit premiums and employee contributions.
  10. Evaluate positions for grade placement based on job content and salary survey sources.
  11. Conduct periodic audits of compensation data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Requirements
  1. 4+ years of compensation and benefits experience, with at least 3 years of progressive compensation analysis experience.
  2. Global compensation experience is required.
  3. Data market analysis and job evaluation experience are also required.
  4. Experience in sales incentive programs is a plus.
  5. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is necessary.
