About the Role

The Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust is seeking a qualified Clinical Associate in Psychology to join their Neighbourhood Mental Health Teams. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team providing care for working-age adults experiencing severe mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychological support and interventions to individuals with mental health difficulties, including those who have experienced trauma.
  • Form strong working relationships with service users, staff, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective care.
  • Assess and identify potential risks, and collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement plans for specialist assessment and treatment.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions, and seek consultation or supervision as needed.
  • Balance the welfare rights of individuals with the duty of care to the wider community, particularly in situations where behavior poses a significant risk.
