Job Title: Clinical Psychology Programme Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychology Programme Lead to join our team at the University of Leicester. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new developments to extend our reach and impact within the profession and beyond, benefiting the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide academic mentorship and contribute research-inspired teaching and supervision at postgraduate levels.
  • Have an established national reputation in clinical psychology and a proven record of providing high-quality academic leadership.
  • Be involved in the recruitment, management, and development of trainees and staff.
  • Build partnerships with local NHS services and researchers in the University's world-leading NIHR funded Biomedical Research Centre.

Requirements:

  • You will hold a DClinPsy or doctoral level qualification in a relevant subject area.
  • You will be HCPC registered as a Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical Psychologist modality).
  • You will have a track record of successful supervision of DClinPsy/PhD students, and experience teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • You will have professional experience in assessment and/or initiatives promoting Equality, Diversity, and Inclusivity (EDI), preferably within clinical psychology training.
