RNID Near You Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a RNID Near You Coordinator in Fife. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering our community service across the Fife area through drop-in sessions offering practical hearing aid support, information on hearing loss and tinnitus, and hearing checks.
You will be responsible for coordinating up to 15 drop-in services across the region and recruiting, training, and managing a team of up to 30 volunteers to deliver the service across Fife. You will have responsibility for the set up and running of these sessions and have good local knowledge of Fife in order to seek new opportunities for delivery of our RNID Near You services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver community service across Fife through drop-in sessions
- Coordinate up to 15 drop-in services across the region
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of up to 30 volunteers
- Set up and run drop-in sessions
- Seek new opportunities for delivery of RNID Near You services
- Experience of managing events and own workload
- Ability to work evenings/weekends if required
- Good IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to physically assist people with hearing aids sensitively
- Digital First, fully remote working with in person all-staff conferences throughout each year
- Fully remote working with no core hours
