Job Title: Assistant Director of F&B

Job Summary:

The Peninsula London is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Food and Beverage to join our team. As a key member of our F&B department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director of Food and Beverage in the day-to-day running of the division and act as deputy in their absence.
  • Ensure profitability and operational efficiency by analyzing outlet data and customer feedback.
  • Encourage proactive and effective inter-departmental communication to foster a climate of teamwork and enthusiasm.
  • Maintain the highest level of Health and Safety and Hygiene.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction from arrival to departure in accordance with standards.
  • Hire, develop, motivate, supervise, and coach F&B department employees.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years in a similar role within luxury hotels.
  • Natural organiser with strong attention to detail and excellent guest engagement skills.
  • Strong people leader with prior experience managing diverse teams.
  • Fluent English language skills and presentation ability.
  • Creative and innovative with extensive food and beverage knowledge.
  • Good working knowledge of financial tools and processes (e.g. budgeting).
