Job Summary:

We are looking for a Record Management Assistant to join our Archive Team. The successful candidate will have previous experience in record management and be able to understand and deal with customer requirements. They will also need to be physically fit as there is a significant amount of manual handling involved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a high-quality service for all users of the Core Patient Database (CPD).
  • Work within the Health Records Department to provide a retention and destruction service to the Trust.
  • Be the first point of contact on all matters relating to the retention, destruction, and storage of records.
  • Supervise Records Services Operatives (Band 2) staff in the absence of Team Managers.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • GCSE Level or equivalent in Maths and English at C or above.
  • Previous administrative experience (6 months minimum).
  • Good communication skills on telephone and face-to-face.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.

Salary and Benefits:

This role comes with a salary of £25,500 - £33,286 per annum, depending on experience. As well as a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including access to the NHS Pension Scheme, 27 days holiday rising to 33 days, and a generous relocation package of up to 30% of salary (capped at £18k).
