We are seeking an experienced professional to take on the role of Health Records Services Operations Manager at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role:

This is a key leadership position that requires strong operational management skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care and improving efficiency within the Health Records Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of staff, managing workflows, and implementing processes to ensure seamless delivery of services.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in healthcare administration, with experience in managing teams and overseeing day-to-day operations. They will be expected to work closely with other departments, provide excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and demonstrate a commitment to quality improvement.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the NHS
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience of managing teams and supervising staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels
  • Able to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines

You will also need to be flexible, adaptable, and able to work well under pressure.
