Support Worker for Children with Autism

As a teaching assistant working with special needs (SEN), you will support the learning and development of children with Autism (ASD) and work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO to assess and implement the students' Educational Health Care Plans (EHCP).
About You:
The school is seeking a strong, confident and caring special needs (SEN) teaching assistant who has a keen interest in making a difference to the lives of young people. You must be willing to work with challenging behaviour, be flexible and willing to take on all challenges, and be able to enforce boundaries and be a good role model. Ideally, you will have experience supporting children with special needs (SEN), specifically Autism (ASD).
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the social development of children with Autism (ASD)
• Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO to assess and implement the students' Educational Health Care Plans (EHCP)
• Be a good role model and enforce boundaries
