Job Overview

Austin Fraser is seeking an experienced Children's Social Work Lead Professional to join their team as an IRO / CP Chair. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring quality practice for children on Child Protection plans or those looked after.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for quality assurance and understand the importance of delivering good practice in social work. A background in QA or experience as an Independent Reviewing Officer / CP chair would be beneficial, but not essential. What's more important is your drive for service improvement and ability to deliver high-quality outcomes.

About the Role

In light of the DfE's decision to keep the role of IRO within Children's Services, we are now looking to invest in our quality assurance by bringing in an experienced practitioner to join our team as an IRO / CP Chair. As a statutory role, you will require a social work qualification & registration to Social Work England.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of up to £57,154 per annum, depending on experience, along with 29 days of annual leave, rising to 33 days after 2 years and 35 days after 4 years. You will also receive regular training and professional development opportunities to help you grow in your career.
