Business Development Sales Specialist

As a Hybrid Working role, you will have the flexibility to work from home and attend our office in Leeds for at least 3 days a week. You will be part of our award-winning Sales Team, driving success and building lasting partnerships.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a self-starter with a sound knowledge of social media to join our Sales Team as a Business Development Sales Specialist. The successful candidate will leverage their sourcing skills across multiple platforms to identify and create new business opportunities for Royal Mail Relay, qualifying all deals before they are passed over.
Key Responsibilities- Sourcing new opportunities for Relay across all social media platforms
- Acting upon leads and referrals within the required timeframe, qualifying each lead before it is passed over
- Working with the Royal Mail Relay Business Development manager to provide insight, leads, and opportunities to maximise revenue
- Meeting SLA/KPIs to exceed Royal Mail Relay new business sales targets, including call rates, conversion rates, and Siebel Data Quality standards
- Good understanding of all social media platforms for sourcing purposes
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Ability to prioritise business opportunities for closing sales
- Well organised, self-disciplined, and able to work without direct supervision
- Commercially shrewd, with a challenger attitude focused on getting the best deal for RMG
The salary for this position is estimated to be around £34,655-£37,517 per annum, with a 30% annual bonus potential and highly competitive contribution rates to our company pension scheme. You will also receive 25 days annual leave, increasing to 27.5 days after 10 years service, plus bank holidays.
