We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Health Your Way. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting an individual with learning disabilities to live their best life.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing assistance with all aspects of personal care, including daily living tasks, mobility, and communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and household chores
  • Support with mobility and transfers, including using equipment and aids
  • Communicate effectively with the individual and their family to understand their needs and preferences
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the individual receives comprehensive care

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a care or support role is desirable
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
  • Full driving license is an advantage
  • Enhanced DBS check required
