We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Personal / Home Care Assistant. As a key member of our support team, you will play a vital role in enabling our young adult with learning disabilities to live her best life.

The ideal candidate will be someone who is open-minded, friendly, and approachable, with a good sense of fun. No previous experience is necessary, as we provide full training on all aspects of the role, including First aid, Makaton, Epilepsy, Manual Handling, and other relevant skills.

As a Personal / Home Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing assistance with all aspects of personal care, including daily support with use and care of equipment. You will also have the opportunity to work with our team to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the individual's needs and goals.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.50, a pension scheme, and 5.6 weeks' annual leave pro rata. You will also receive full training and support to help you succeed in your role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance with all aspects of personal care
  • Support with daily activities, including meal preparation and household chores
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, as needed
  • Provide emotional support and companionship
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans
