Join Our Team as a Personal Care Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Personal Care Assistant. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our client with learning disabilities to live their best life.

About the Role:

  • Provide assistance with all aspects of personal care, including daily living activities and mobility support.
  • Support our client with their daily routine, including meal preparation, medication management, and personal hygiene.
  • Assist with household chores and maintain a safe and clean living environment.
  • Develop and maintain a trusting relationship with our client, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless support and care.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £12.50.
  • A pension scheme for eligible employees.
  • 5.6 weeks' annual leave pro rata.
  • Full certificated training on all aspects of the role, including First aid, Makaton, Epilepsy, and Manual Handling.

Requirements:

  • A full driving licence is desirable.
  • Flexibility in working hours is essential, with the possibility of night shifts and weekend work.
  • An enhanced DBS check will be required.
