About the Role

As an E-Commerce Merchandising Manager, you will play a vital role in driving sales and revenue growth through strategic merchandising initiatives.

You will be responsible for managing promotional calendars, creating and implementing effective merchandising strategies, and analyzing data to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive merchandising strategies to drive sales and revenue growth.
  2. Manage promotional calendars, ensuring timely and effective execution of campaigns.
  3. Analyze sales data and market trends to inform business decisions and optimize merchandising strategies.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effectiveness of merchandising initiatives.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity, making recommendations for improvement.
  6. Provide regular reporting and insights to stakeholders on merchandising performance and opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level with specific direct marketing and web qualifications.
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience within an online marketing department preferably in a similar industry.
  • Experience using Magento 2 is preferable.
  • Strong understanding of web and direct marketing mechanics.
  • Good understanding of management and development of websites.
  • Experience in report production and web analytics.
  • Experience working within a FMCG organization is highly desirable.
  • Excellent computer literacy in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and design packages.
  • Basic understanding of HTML and web page structure.

Estimated Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience.
