About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide efficient and effective administrative and secretarial support within our hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide administrative and secretarial support to the hospital, including document and report production, telephone enquiries, diary management, payroll input, meeting and greeting visitors, and other administrative tasks as appropriate.
  2. Handle external and internal enquiries, recognising the level of importance of particular enquiries or issues and applying the appropriate prioritisation.
  3. Ensure that all information and documentation is correctly processed in line with policies and procedures to meet regulatory, statutory, compliance, and financial requirements.
  4. Assist in updating staff and resident records and central and local database systems, ensuring accuracy of all data input.
  5. Ensure the effective operation of delegated administrative processes and procedures.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a high level of English and numeracy, excellent keyboard and PC skills, and a basic level of proficiency for standard office applications such as word and excel. They will also possess exceptional organisation, reception, and clerical skills.
