About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Deputy Manager to join our team at McCarthy Recruitment. As a representative of our company, you will be responsible for motivating and inspiring your team to provide exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a diverse team, from recruitment to induction and beyond
  • Ensure all staff are multi-skilled and tasked to complete a range of duties across the store
  • Assist the management team in managing the performance of self and others within agreed limits
  • Complete team appraisals within agreed time limits
  • Manage a business that is viewed as 'best in class', maximising sales at every opportunity and maintaining extremely high standards
  • Understand customers, anticipating their needs, and setting exceptional standards of service
  • Identify business levers and proactively assist the Area Manager to keep track of the competition
Requirements
  • Mandarin or Cantonese speaker (preferred not essential)
  • A confident and natural leader able to coach, develop, and motivate to build a high-performing team
  • A strong work ethic, able to work at pace, and eager to work in a demanding environment
  • Experience working in an environment focused on speed without compromising service
  • Current supervisory, team leadership, management experience, and looking for career progression
