Job Title: Teacher Assistant - Secondary Education

We are seeking a motivated Teacher Assistant to join our team at a successful secondary school in Cheadle. This full-time position commences in January and continues until the end of the academic year, with opportunities to secure a permanent position based on performance.

The salary for this role is approximately £42500 - £50500 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Teaching Support: Provide support to teachers in delivering lessons and offer additional assistance to students as required.
  • Curriculum Enhancement: Develop and lead targeted programs to boost student understanding and engagement with the curriculum.
  • Classroom Environment: Contribute to maintaining a productive and respectful learning environment by managing classroom behavior and promoting positive relationships among students.
  • Resource Preparation: Assist in preparing engaging lesson materials and organizing resources to support effective teaching.
  • Student Performance: Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers to inform instruction and interventions.
