Nuclear Sector Engineering Specialist

The National Nuclear Laboratory is a leading organisation in the nuclear sector. As an Electrical Technical Support professional at NNL, you'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive engineering solutions. You'll ensure safe operation and contribute to the development of pragmatic engineering solutions that meet organisational objectives in a cost-effective manner.
Main Responsibilities:
This role involves implementing and maintaining the technical basis of maintenance (TBoM) process, assisting with complex maintenance activities. You'll also ensure all maintenance tasks are briefed, understood, and performed safely and on schedule. In addition, you'll comply with legislative, regulatory, and company procedures. Finally, you'll produce Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) for maintenance or breakdown tasks.
Ideal Candidate:
We're seeking a professional with a Degree Qualified (Electrical) or HND in an equivalent discipline. You'll need to have strong communications skills and the ability to interface with Design and Capability teams. A demonstrable knowledge of operational and maintenance requirements is essential. You'll also need to have the ability to obtain DV level security clearance.
