Role Description
The Senior Radiation Protection Specialist role at National Nuclear Laboratory involves developing and implementing radiation protection strategies to ensure safe working practices in high-risk environments. Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing radiation protection strategies for operational facilities.

  • Ensuring compliance with radiation protection regulations and guidelines.

Requirements:
  • Degree in a relevant field such as radiation protection, nuclear engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive knowledge of radiation protection principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to obtain SC level security clearance.

Salary and Benefits:

£58,732 - £76,022 per annum, depending on experience. National Nuclear Laboratory offers a range of benefits, including a pension plan, annual leave, and opportunities for career growth.
