Apple Recruitment is seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our client, the SHSCT, Craigavon. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will provide administrative and secretarial support to the Mental Health Departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide administrative support to teams, including emails, scanning, filing, photocopying, and word processing.
  2. Maintain filing systems, both manual and computerized.
  3. Answer the telephone and take action as required.
  4. Cover the switchboard/reception and meet and greet patients/visitors.
  5. Input and extract data from community information systems.
  6. Prepare clinical notes for release to relevant parties and liaise with the litigation office/medico-legal office.
  7. Monitor and validate waiting lists.
  8. Maintain the office diary, including room booking.
  9. Assist in the collation of statistics and produce tables and presentations as required.
  10. Run reports from PARIS and ensure the validation of patient data.
  11. Participate in reporting faults with building and equipment.
  12. Liaise with the Open University regarding students/placements and prepare rotas.
  13. Provide administrative support for evening clinics.
  14. Undertake other ad hoc administrative and clerical duties as required by the line manager.
