About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our sales team and be responsible for managing sales administration processes while delivering an excellent customer experience.

Main Responsibilities
  • Sales Management:
    • Generate new business through proactive outbound calls and planned follow-ups.
    • Make regular sales calls to existing portfolio customers based on an agreed call plan with specific objectives.
    • Price cash sale enquiries in line with our cash sale pricing policy.
  • Sales Administration:
    • Handle customer written and verbal enquiries efficiently and in a timely manner.
    • Investigate and resolve customer issues and complaints through active listening and finding suitable solutions.
    • Liaise with internal and external teams regarding customer orders, pricing, products, and delivery matters.
    • Take payment for cash sale jobs.
    • Create, alter, and confirm new customer orders within our SAP Order Management system.
    • Negotiate realistic delivery times with customers based on production and truck capabilities.
    • Maintain good relationships with customers, colleagues, drivers, plant staff, and transport personnel.
  • Main Targets:
    • Achieve volume and margin targets for allocated plants.
    • Increase cash sale volume and margin.
    What You Need to Succeed
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proven sales management experience.
    • Knowledge of SAP system.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    Compensation Package

Bonus incentives: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, Generous Pension Schemes, Life Assurance, 27 days holiday (excluding bank holidays), Agile working, Flexible working, Holiday purchase, Sabbatical.
