Reception Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reception Manager to join our Front Office team at The Landmark London Hotel. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the reception area, providing exceptional customer service, and leading by example to maintain high morale and minimize turnover.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the efficient operation of the Front Desk, including managing guest check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments.
- Assess and resolve guest complaints and issues in a prompt and professional manner.
- Develop and implement training programs for staff to maintain high standards of customer service and minimize turnover.
- Assist in the preparation of work schedules to ensure effective staffing and efficient operation of the Front Desk.
- Ensure standardized credit approval, deposit policy, letters, and group handling procedures are followed.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Ability to work a 40-hour shift rota, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
