Workforce Planning Manager

Principality Building Society is embarking on a period of significant cultural transformation to simplify our business and create capacity for purposeful growth. We are seeking a skilled Workforce Planning Manager to lead the development and delivery of an operational workforce planning capability across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver an operational workforce planning capability to ensure our people resources are managed efficiently.
  • Identify opportunities to improve organizational outcomes and optimize staffing schedules.
  • Workforce planning and forecasting to cover operational demands and ensure optimal coverage.
  • Oversee the reconciliation of monthly performance across the group and manage design changes to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Forecast all operational demand types and staffing requirements based on historical data and identify trends and business needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement change and assist with training and mentoring of workforce planning colleagues.
  • Monitor real-time data to ensure all peak activities and shortfalls are addressed and service level agreements are met.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience in managing workforce planning activities and analytical skills to interpret data and make sound decisions.
  • Experience of using workforce management software and tools to forecast call volumes and create schedules.
  • Excellent communication and people skills to build relationships and influence at all levels.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize and multitask effectively in a challenging environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data techniques.
