Job Title: Senior Mental Health Specialist

Location: Exeter, UK

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per year

At ProfDoc, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychological assessments for complex cases, including personal injury, immigration, family, and crime.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience as a Clinical Psychologist or 3 years experience as a Counselling Psychologist, with HCPC registration. You will also have strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and rewarding cases, using your expertise to provide high-quality care to patients. You will also receive ongoing support and training to help you develop your skills and advance your career.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Medico-Legal assessments for Personal Injury, Immigration, Family, and Crime cases
  • Assess symptoms such as PTSD, Anxiety, Flashbacks, and Depression
  • Complete reports using a Pro-Forma, with assistance from Medical Secretaries
  • Offer CBT & EMDR treatments where needed
