Job Overview

Elysium Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Support Specialist to join their multidisciplinary team at Pinhoe View, a purpose-built facility providing mental health services for adults with acute conditions.

This 12-month fixed-term contract will cover maternity leave and offer the opportunity to work with a range of mental health services across two wards and eight individual flats.

About the Role

As a Mental Health Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting service users to improve their physical health while working alongside the multidisciplinary team. Key responsibilities include risk assessments, liaison with the GP service, supervising junior staff, and implementing screening processes.

The ideal candidate will have RGN experience, relevant nursing qualifications, NMC registration, and experience in a similar environment. A proven track record of clinical practice development is also essential.

Salary and Benefits

This position offers an annual salary of £42,732, which is competitive in the industry. In addition, the successful candidate will receive the equivalent of 33 days' annual leave (including Bank Holidays) plus their birthday off. Free meals and parking are also included.
