About the Role

We are recruiting an experienced Sports Coach to join our team at Empowering Learning. As a key member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of children with special needs, autism, and complex requirements. Your responsibilities will include designing and delivering sports sessions, promoting healthy lifestyles, and collaborating with teachers to develop customized learning plans.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver sports sessions for children of various ages and abilities, including warmers, main activities, and cool-downs
  • Promote healthy eating habits and encourage young people to make informed choices about their diet
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote proactive learning through sports activities
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to develop and implement tailored learning plans

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in working with children with special needs (preferably)
  • Enhanced DBS certificate on Update Service or willingness to obtain one

  • A competitive daily rate of £90-£97
  • A full-time position with regular hours from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
